Clear, straightforward policies designed to protect both you and your belongings.
Rental Terms
- Month-to-Month Rentals: All rentals are on a month-to-month basis with no long-term commitment required.
- Payment Due Date: Rent is due on the 1st of each month. A 5-day grace period is provided.
- Move-In Requirements: First month's rent and valid ID required. No deposit necessary.
- Notice to Vacate: 10-day written notice required before move-out.
- Pro-Rating: Move-ins after the 15th are pro-rated for the first month.

Late Fees & Charges
- Late fee: $25 after 5-day grace period
- Returned payment: $35 fee
- Lock cutting fee: $25
- Cleaning fee: $50-$200 if applicable

- • Boats and RVs (with proper storage)

- • Properly packed electronics
- • Clothing and textiles
- • Non-perishable items
Prohibited Items
- • Hazardous materials or chemicals
- • Flammable or explosive items
- • Perishable food items
- • Living plants or animals
- • Illegal substances or items
- • Firearms and ammunition
- • Wet or damp items (mold risk)
- • Medical waste
- • Unregistered vehicles
- • Items with strong odors
Security & Access Policies
Access Hours
Gate access is available 7 days a week from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
After-hours emergency access may be arranged in special circumstances.

Insurance & Liability
Important Notice
Sand Dune Storage is not responsible for loss or damage to stored items. We strongly recommend that all tenants maintain insurance coverage for their stored belongings.
- • Tenant insurance is available through our office
- • Many homeowner/renter policies cover stored items
- • Proof of insurance may be required for certain items
- • Facility is not liable for acts of nature or theft
Termination & Abandonment
Default & Lien Process: Accounts more than 30 days past due are subject to lock-out and lien proceedings according to Idaho state law.
Abandoned Property: Items left after termination of rental agreement will be disposed of or sold at auction after proper legal notice.
Early Termination: No penalty for early termination with proper 10-day notice. Partial month refunds are not provided.
